Diz is a classically trained artist and has spent much of her career as an illustrator in both advertising and publishing, producing over 30 books. Her ability to visually tell a story, together with a deep affinity for nature and her innate sense of humour, makes her take on anthropomorphic art an irresistible combination. Many of her working drawings are also available to purchase (The Sketchbook) and give a remarkable insight into her initial inspirations.
Diz works with a variety of media, including: gouache, water colour, pencil and pastel. She has also embraced the digital age and enjoys exploring the opportunities that this revolution has provided.
The Prints
The giclée print process allows for both a greater range of print colour and ensures the exact reproduction of each print. The highest quality materials are used: Epson Ultrachrome K3 pigment inks and archival quality Hahnemühle paper.
Certificate of Authenticity & Embossed Stamp
All limited edition prints are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity showing its issue number and details of the paper and ink used.
As of January 2022, each print also carries the Diz Wallis Art embossed stamp. On Gift Art prints the stamp appears on the mount back. Limited edition prints have the stamp in the corner of the print.
