Artwork (Gift Art and Limited Edition prints)

Are the artworks framed?

Our Personalised Gift Art arrive with a frame, whilst out Limited Edition Prints do not.  All artwork is professionally mounted – see individual items for details.

What is giclée printing?

It is a method of printing using pigment inks on specially coated paper or canvas. It is pronounced ‘gee-clay’.

It is different from other methods of print in that no printing plates are required, prints are made from high-resolution digital files, pigment inks are computer controlled, high-quality ‘archival’ papers are used, the ink has a wider range of colours (gamut) and the tones are continuous. The inks are sprayed onto the canvas or paper to create the image.

The benefits of giclee printing are:

  • Vibrancy – the widest colour range
  • Longevity – both inks and paper
  • Authenticity – images match the original
  • Quality – uses the finest materials

What is a limited edition print?

Limited edition prints are produced in limited numbers, which is intended to make the picture more exclusive.

How many limited edition prints are produced?

We will only print 150 of any artwork.

How do I know if the print is genuine?

Every print is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, giving you the reassurance that you are investing in a genuinely limited edition print.

Are the originals for sale?

At this point the originals are not for sale.

How will I receive my artwork?

Personalised Gift Art

Artwork is contained in a branded cardboard folder. The artwork and frame are shipped in a branded cardboard box enclosed in a waterproof postage bag. See individual items for details.

Limited Edition Prints

Artwork is contained in a branded cardboard folder. The folder is placed between thick cardboard and shipped in a waterproof postage bag.  See individual items for details.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Personalised Gift Art

Personalised Gift Art will be dispatched within 2 working days. After despatch gifts should be delivered as follows:

  • UK: 1-2 working days
  • Rest of the world: 3-7 working days

Limited Edition Prints

Each artwork is printed to order and typically takes 6 working days to produce and dispatch. After dispatch prints should be delivered as follows:

  • UK: 2-3 working days
  • Rest of the world: 3-7 working days

Who do I contact if I have a query about my order?

If you have a query about your order, please email us on info@jospin.co.uk, stating your order number. We will respond within 1 working day.

Billing

I haven’t got a PayPal account, how can a buy a print?

We use PayPal to securely take orders, however, if you don’t have a PayPal account, simply click the Pay by Debit or Credit Card button when you are taken from our checkout to the PayPal website to use the Paypal Guest Checkout.

I have been charged by Jospin Art Ltd. Who are they?

Jospin Art is Diz’s family run company name that runs the Diz Wallis Art.

Delivery & returns

What is your delivery & returns policy?

The item I have received is faulty. What do I do?

In the first instance, please contact us on info@jospin.co.uk stating your order number and details of what is wrong with the item. We will reply within 1 working day.

When will I be refunded?

If we agree a refund, we will transfer money within 1 working day. Depending on your bank, funds may take up to a week to appear.

How do I cancel my order?

Personalised Gift Art

If we have not created the gift art, you can cancel your order. Please note we aim to create the gift art the day after we have we received the order.

Limited Edition Prints

If we have not despatched the print, you can cancel your order. Please note that if the artwork is available in our studio, we aim to despatch it the day after we receive order.

The message in my Gift Art is wrong. Can I return it?

If the message is incorrect due to an error made by us, we will be happy to either resupply it, or arrange a refund. Please contact us on info@jospin.co.uk stating your order number.
